The answer is yes. While you're stretching and working on improving your posture that nasty creek in your neck or back pain will slowly fade away. Due to the slow relaxing stretches and deep breathing exercises yoga shows to lower your heart rate and improve make you feel more relaxed overall.

Treat yourself to a shopping day

It's common to hear of people going shopping after a long day and referring to the practice as "retail therapy". There's just something about buying a sassy new outfit that can save any bad day. In my opinion this works because when someone has a bad day it usually has to do with something out of their control, but when using the retail therapy approach you have control and change your whole image at your own will. Retail therapy also acts as a distraction, it keeps your mind busy from the issue that is truly stressing you out. While I don't recommend retail therapy as a daily method to relieving stress, once in awhile a little retail therapy can go a long way to drastically improve your mood.
